Job summary

Jasper Engine Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Lift Operator for the Core Warehouse to operate a forklift and assist with storage and retrieval for production and shipping.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and using handheld scanners. Training for powered industrial trucks is provided, with a starting pay of $20 per hour and growth through performance-based raises. This is a full-time position with potential overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk for an 8–10 hour shift.
• Must complete Powered Industrial Truck Training.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to store and retrieve product for production and shipping.
• Inspect shipping containers for damage and remove exterior labels.
• Perform skid wash entry/exit and prepare containers for orders.
• Verify straps and clean oil/debris from shipping containers.

Job description

Core Warehouse - Lift Operator Job Overview: In this position the Associate will operate a forklist, articulating forklift and hoists to store and retrieve product from shelves for production needs and outbound product shipping. Responsibilities also include skid wash entry and exit, inspecting transmission and engine shipping containers for damage, verifying straps and removing exterior labels before cleaning the shipping containers of oil and debris and preparing for orders are requested by production.

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
• Overtime

Qualifications:

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours)
• The ability to use handheld tools such as Hand Scanners

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting rate $20.00
