Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, NY is seeking a Winter Lift Operator to help guests access the slopes safely while delivering friendly, attentive service. This seasonal role requires weekend availability and being at least 18 years old, with training provided.

You will perform daily safety checks, assist guests, operate lifts, and work as part of a team in an outdoor winter environment. Perks include a season pass, discounts, and growth opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Welcome guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and help create a positive experience at every lift.
• Prioritize safety by completing daily safety checks, maintaining logbooks, and reporting issues.
• Operate lifts according to training and procedures, assist with opening/closing lift areas, monitor lines, validate passes.
• Assist guests as they board/exist lifts, provide safety instructions, and attend to guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming lift area and assist with resort tasks as needed.
• Work with lift operations staff and other departments to support safe, efficient operations and guest service.

Do you enjoy helping others and working in an active outdoor environment? As a Lift Operator at Greek Peak Mountain Resort, you’ll help guests safely access the slopes while providing friendly, attentive service. Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old and have WEEKEND availability.

What You’ll Do:

• Welcome guests with a friendly, helpful attitude and help create a positive experience at every lift.
• Prioritize safety by completing assigned daily safety checks, maintaining accurate logbooks, and promptly reporting mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Operate lifts according to training and resort procedures, assist with opening and closing lift areas, monitor lift lines, and validate guest passes.
• Assist guests as they board and exit lifts, provide clear safety instructions, and remain attentive to guest needs.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment in lift areas and assist with resort tasks as needed.
• Work as a team with lift operations staff and other departments to support safe, efficient operations and outstanding guest service.

• Customer Service-Oriented: You’re committed to providing exceptional service. Previous customer service experience is a plus, and training is provided.

Location & Schedule:

Location: Greek Peak Mountain Resort, Cortland, NY

Schedule: This seasonal position runs from late November or early December through the winter season, with scheduling based on resort needs and peak business periods.
