Job summary

Snow King Mountain Resort in Jackson Hole, WY is seeking a hands-on Lift & Activity Operations Manager to lead daily operations for winter and summer attractions. You will supervise lift operators and activity staff, ensure safety, maintain records, and deliver excellent guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to adapt to weather and event-driven schedules.

Qualifications

• Must possess excellent people and guest service skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Must speak, write and read excellent English.
• Experience managing employees preferred.
• Lift knowledge and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Valid, current, unrestricted driver’s license necessary.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates teamwork and support for management.
• Monitors lifts and personnel for compliance with signage, licensing, procedures, and safety.
• Ensure all operational logs, inspections, training records, and regulatory documentation are completed accurately and on time.
• Schedule and ensure that lifts and activities are fully staffed daily.
• Lead a guest-service culture by example and ensure staff provide friendly, professional service.
• Labor planning for concerts and events; manage alpine slide and coaster operations and repairs.
• Participate in lift operator duties during opening, operation, and closing as needed.
• Oversee employee training and maintain records to meet company, regulatory, and insurance requirements.
• Build a positive, accountable team culture; manage schedule changes and special events.
• Ensure ANSI B77 standards and operating procedures are followed.

The Snow King Team is looking for people with a love for the outdoors, a desire to learn, and a commitment to excellent service.Job DescriptionThe Lift & Activity Operations Manager is responsible for the daily leadership, staffing, safety, and operational success of Snow King's winter and summer activity operations.
