Job summary

Gunstock Mountain Resort in Gilford, New Hampshire seeks an experienced Lift Mechanic to join our Mountain Operations team. You will inspect, maintain, and repair 8 aerial and surface lifts and the Mountain Coaster to ensure safe, reliable operation for guests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of lift maintenance or construction experience.
• Tower climbing certification required within 3 months of start date.
• Knowledge of B77 regulations for aerial passenger tramways and lifts.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues in high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on aerial/surface lifts and Mountain Coaster; inspect safety switches, cables, drives, and electrical systems.
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures, safety checks, and communication with operations to ensure lifts are safe and ready for guests.
• Provide technical guidance during training for Lift Operators and contribute to safety protocol development for loading/unloading.
• Support operations and other trades on projects, including equipment movement, traffic control, and site clean-up.
