Job summary

Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC seeks a Level 2 Lift Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on ski lifts year-round. The role supports mountain operations, climbs towers, and adheres to safety standards in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, and training participation in the Vermont Tramway Apprenticeship program, with emphasis on equipment reliability and guest safety across the resort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; formal mechanical training preferred.
• Prior lift maintenance experience or apprenticeship.
• Ability to diagnose and repair ski lift systems.
• Comfortable working at heights and in extreme weather.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain lift equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on ski lift systems.
• Attend training including Vermont Tramway Apprenticeship program.
• Maintain maintenance logs and safety records.
