Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a forklift operator to move large tanks and containers within the Detroit facility. You will operate and drive large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and the yard mule, supporting loading/unloading and miscellaneous tasks to keep the terminal running smoothly.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of heavy equipment experience in an industrial setting and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must know how to drive an empty lift, loaded lift and the yard mule.
• Must have a minimum of one to 2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, a yard mule.
• Experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Move large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility.
• Operate and drive the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Load and unload of other materials and assist with miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.

Moving tanks and containers withing the facility by driving a Large Heavy Duty Lift.

Position Responsibilities:

• Moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility
• Operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Job duties will also include loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.
• Safety is a must.
