Job summary

Depot Connect International in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to move tanks and containers within the facility using a large heavy forklift and yard mule. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8a-5p at our Chesapeake facility.

You will load/unload materials, support terminal operations, and follow safety protocols. Candidates need 1–2 years of heavy equipment experience in industrial environments; driving empty and loaded lifts and yard mule is required.

Qualifications

• Must know how to drive an empty lift, loaded lift and the yard mule.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, yard mule.
• Experience in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Move large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility.
• Operate and drive large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Load and unload other materials and assist with miscellaneous items to support terminal operations.
• Safety is a must.

Role Overview:

Moving tanks and containers within the facility by driving a Large Heavy Duty Lift at our Chesapeake, VA Facility!

Shift/Hours:

Monday- Friday 8a-5p

Pay Range:

$20-$22/hr

Position Responsibilities:

• Moving large mobile tanks and/or containers within the facility
• Operating and driving the large heavy forklift trucks (empty and loaded) and yard mule.
• Job duties will also include loading and unloading of other materials and assisting with other miscellaneous items as needed to contribute to the overall team effort of the terminal.
• Safety is a must.

Qualifications:

• Must know how to drive an empty lift, loaded lift and the yard mule.
• Must have a minimum of one to 2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment, a yard mule.
• Experience in an industrial environment.
