Job summary

Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA is seeking a Lift Attendant/Operator to join the Lift Operations team. You will safely load/unload guests, assist with boarding/exiting lifts, and help manage lift lines while communicating mountain conditions and hours to guests.

Role requires outdoor work in varied weather, strong safety mindset, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training is provided and opportunities for advancement exist within the Lift Operations department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Ability to stand outdoors for extended periods of time.
• Ability to assist guests physically during lift loading/unloading.
• Ability to read/speak English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe loading and unloading of guests on lifts.
• Assist guests with boarding and exiting lifts and provide guidance.
• Manage lift lines to maintain orderly guest flow.
• Maintain loading and unloading ramps, including snow and ice removal.
• Develop knowledge of lift operations through on-the-job training.
• Provide guests with up-to-date mountain conditions and operating hours.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety for guests and coworkers.

Job Title: Lift Attendant/Operator

Department: Lift Operations

Reports to: Lift Operations Manager

Lift attendants and Operatorsoperateour lifts in a safe manner while providing knowledge of the resort to guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe and proper loading and unloading of guests on lifts.
• Assistguests with boarding and exiting lifts, providing guidance or physical support as needed.
• Manage lift lines tomaintainorderly and efficient guest flow.
• Maintain loading and unloading ramps, including snow and ice removal.
• Develop andmaintainknowledge of lift operations through on-the-job training.
• Provide guests with up-to-date information on mountain conditions and operating hours.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself, coworkers, and guests.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions (cold, snow, wind, rain).
• Must be able to speak and read English;additionallanguages a plus.

• Ability to shovel snow and clear ice around lift areas.
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery and lift equipment.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to loud noise andcold conditions.
