Job summary

WCSC Live 5 in Charleston, SC, seeks a full-time Lifestyle Videographer/Editor to join the Emmy-winning Palmetto Life team. The role focuses on shooting, editing, and delivering engaging lifestyle segments and sponsored content.

The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with cinematography and editing skills who works closely with lifestyle producers and the sales team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. FAA 107 training is available.

Qualifications

• Creative reel showing DSLR/mirrorless cinematography, lighting, and audio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere editing.
• Strong storytelling, time-management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under daily deadlines, including weekends.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• FAA Part 107 certification preferred, or willingness to become certified.
• Ability to work Saturday through Wednesday.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit daily lifestyle segments, sponsored content, and promos.
• Staff booth for Sunday morning show; shoot and edit daily segments Saturday through Wednesday.
• Gather information, story elements, and video in the field.
• Set up and operate live shots as needed; operate LiveU backpacks solo or with a reporter.
• Maintain professionalism with clients, sponsors, and community partners.
• Manage projects, media, and equipment maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.
