Job summary

WCIV in Charleston, SC is seeking a creative full-time News Photographer.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of ENG experience with a network affiliate. You will shoot, edit, and produce day-to-day general assignments, in-depth features, and investigative packages. Work includes HD shooting, non-linear editing, and collaborating with a team to tell compelling stories. Must be able to lift 25–50 pounds and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Team-player capable of producing compelling stories under tight deadlines.
• Editing and shooting general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to operate ENG news vehicles.
• Able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit, and cover day-to-day general assignments, in-depth features and investigations.
• Collaborate with the team to tell engaging local stories.
