Ashley Furniture in St. Louis is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to turn store guests into loyal customers. As the home furnishings expert, you’ll create inspiration and help guests discover styles that reflect their lives, driving excitement and a positive brand experience.

This role emphasizes exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. You’ll process sales, assist with financing, and support store operations while striving to exceed sales goals.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class service to store guests and maintain a welcoming presence at the front desk.
• Process sales orders accurately and handle cash and credit applications as required.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Assist with store opening/closing activities and daily cash reconciliation.
• Support inventory management and participate in bi-annual inventory checks.
• Meet and exceed sales goals and KPI targets.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
