Job summary

Vi Living at Vi at Silverstone in Scottsdale seeks a Lifestyle Coordinator to support the Lifestyle department by developing and coordinating programs and events that promote whole-person wellness for residents. You will assist with recruiting volunteers, coordinating contractors and community resources, and provide leadership in the absence of the Lifestyle Director.

Sunday shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm, prior experience in senior recreation and strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in recreation or related experience with seniors.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication; MS Office proficiency.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and execution of programs, activities and events promoting resident wellness.
• Recruit and coordinate volunteers, contractors, and community resources; provide leadership in absence of Lifestyle Director.

Responsibilities

Lifestyle Coordinator

Sundays 8:30am-5:00pm

A desirable opportunity exists for an individual to join the Lifestyle department to assist and coordinate in the development and execution of programs, activities and special events promoting whole person wellness for residents. You'll assist with the recruitment and coordination of outside volunteers, independent contractors and community resources and provide leadership for the department in the absence of the Lifestyle Director.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in the field of recreation or appropriate experience in assessing, designing and implementing social, educational, recreational and leisure activities for an active senior population is preferred. Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills along with proficiency in MS Office. High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. Associate Degree is preferred.
