Advocate Health in Shelby, NC is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform respiratory therapies under supervision, including treatments and oxygen administration, and to support neonatal through geriatric patients with comprehensive care.

The role requires current enrollment in a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program in good standing, NCRCB registration as an RCA, completion of competency evaluations, and BLS certification. Additional facility certifications may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and can assess data reflecting patient status.
• Interprets information to identify patient requirements and ensures age-specific needs are met per policies.
• Performs respiratory care treatments and oxygen administration.
• Suctions patients and obtains/runs ABG samples.
• Provides and assesses the effectiveness of patient and family education.
