Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with attendance records and preparing instructional materials.
• Reinforce appropriate behavior per the teacher’s plan and assist in classroom discipline.
• Guide individual students or groups in daily activities, monitoring hygiene, dress, eating habits and behavior.
• Supervise small groups of students in community settings.
• Contribute to a positive school climate through praise and encouragement.
• Administer personal care to students with severe disabilities as required.
