KenCrest Services in the United States is seeking a LifeSharing Support Professional to provide supports to Lifesharing individuals and their families, coordinating medical appointments, maintaining records, and assisting with van runs. You will use computer skills and MS Office, communicate effectively in English, and follow safety procedures.

Hours are typically 8:30am-4:30pm Monday–Friday with occasional flexibility in a collaborative team environment.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with people who have developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Criminal record and child abuse check as per state requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with van runs and transportation-related tasks.

The LifeSharing Support Professional is responsible to provide an array of supports to the Lifesharing individual and their family. They are responsible for the care of the individuals supported through Lifesharing, ensuring that the unique needs of each person are met. Responsibilities include scheduling and escorting individuals to doctors' appointments, maintaining individual records, assisting with van runs, organizing files, computer work, and assisting in emergency situations. Must have good people skills, good communication skills, positive approaches and experience with people with developmental disabilities. Hours are typically 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday but will occasionally require flexibility. Great team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
• Valid and Current driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record (required)
• *Driver's License, insurance and registration must be aligned with state of permanent residence*
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and follow instructions in English
• Clear criminal record and child abuse check in accordance with state requirements
• Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
