Kennesaw State University is seeking a Program Instructor for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute to develop and lead non-credit courses for adults over 50 in a dynamic, engaging setting.

Responsibilities include planning curricula, teaching strategies, preparing syllabi, and evaluating student progress using varied learning aids. Strong communication, organization and customer service are essential for success.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of instructional experience relevant to the program and with classroom management, adult learning, and effective communication.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, organizes, develops and conducts a comprehensive instructional course for OLLI participants.
• Teaches students learning strategies.
• Uses appropriate learning aids and materials for instruction.
• Prepares and submits a course syllabus before class start.
• Assists with tutoring, problem-solving activities, and evaluations.
• Handles classroom and project paperwork.
• Reports student learning and behavioral issues to staff.
