Job summary

ThinkTank is hiring Lifeline Enrollment Experts to enroll eligible individuals in Lifeline service using their own phone and a free SIM card. You will conduct outreach in community locations and events, verify eligibility, and explain benefits while maintaining secure records.

The role offers flexible hours as an independent contractor with bi-weekly pay, local focus, and potential for advancement. Training provided; bilingual English/Spanish preferred to serve diverse communities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; advanced education or certification preferred.
• Experience in customer service, sales, or related roles.
• Knowledgeable about Lifeline program eligibility and enrollment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work autonomously.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enroll eligible customers for Lifeline service using their existing phone and a free SIM card and/or device upgrades.
• Conduct outreach in high-traffic community areas and organized events.
• Verify documents and eligibility through secure, compliant systems.
• Explain program benefits and maintain accurate daily records.
• Assist customers with SIM activation, device setup, and troubleshooting.
• Promote optional device upgrades and premium phone offers.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly enrollment goals.
