Job summary

Candidates must hold Indiana EMT certification or national certification with the ability to obtain Indiana certification within 30 days, and must have a valid driver’s license and BLS

Qualifications

• Indiana EMT certification required or national certification with ability to obtain Indiana within 30 days.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Responds in an emergency medical vehicle to scenes and transports patients to hospital for care.
• Provides basic life support including CPR, AED and splinting; performs hospital-based ambulance duties.
