Job summary

Beacon City School District is seeking certified lifeguards to protect swimmers at Beacon High School Pool. You will monitor patrons, enforce rules, perform rescues and respond to emergencies as needed.

Applicants must be at least 15 years old. The position pays $16.00/hour, in line with NY State Minimum Wage. Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and the posting remains open until filled.

Qualifications

• Patience and alertness to supervise swimmers.
• Ability to enforce rules and maintain environment.
• Skill in water rescue and basic first aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers and ensure safety rules are followed.
• Enforce pool safety policies and respond to incidents.
• Perform rescues and administer emergency care as needed.
