Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod is seeking vigilant Lifeguards to join our pool and water park safety team in Hyannis, MA. You will monitor activities, respond to emergencies, and maintain a safe environment for guests in a dynamic setting.

Qualified candidates have a Lifeguard Certification with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, excellent swimming ability, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays are available.

Qualifications

• Current Lifeguard Certification and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification.
• Strong swimming ability and physical fitness level.
• Excellent observational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and act swiftly under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming activities and ensure patrons adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and performing water rescues as needed.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by inspecting swim areas, deck spaces, and equipment regularly.
• Communicate professionally with guests, offering assistance and guidance when required.
• Conduct regular safety drills and keep accurate records of swimming activities and incidents.
• Uphold strong knowledge of all safety equipment and emergency response protocols.
