The YMCA of the North Shore is hiring certified lifeguards at locations across the North Shore, including Marblehead, Salem, Beverly/Soul Center, Ipswich, Haverhill and Cape Ann YMCA. Flexible shifts offered—early morning, daytime, evenings and weekends—for currently certified lifeguards and those pursuing certification.

Qualifications

• A minimum age of 16 years.
• Current certifications in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED, First Aid, Oxygen Administration.
• A calm, confident presence with strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Seeking availability for both weekday and weekend shifts.

Responsabilités

• Actively monitor the pool and help maintain a safe environment for members and participants.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow YMCA safety procedures.
• Create a welcoming and positive experience for members and program participants.
• Maintain a clean and organized pool environment.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
