Job summary

The City of Allen is seeking lifeguards to work at its aquatic facilities in Allen, Texas. Under direct supervision, you will visually scan for distressed swimmers, perform in-water rescues, and provide CPR and first aid as needed to ensure patron safety.

You will also support general pool operations and customer service throughout shifts. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess American Red Cross Lifeguard (including Deep Water) & First Aid as well as CPR/AED for Professional

Qualifications

• Requires American Red Cross Lifeguard (including Deep Water) & First Aid Certification.
• Must be at least sixteen (16) years old.
• American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers Certification.

Responsibilities

• Visually scan pool areas to identify distressed swimmers.
• Perform in-water rescues and provide first aid as needed.
• Provide CPR when appropriate.
• Assist with locker room and pool operations and customer service.
• May act as a water safety instructor if certified by the American Red Cross.
