Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Summerlin is hiring a Lifeguard / Swim Instructor to ensure patron safety under supervision. You will monitor the pool, enforce facility rules, provide emergency care when needed, and progressively cross-train for multiple roles while delivering a Golden Experience to students and families.

We seek team players who are enthusiastic, can work with kids, and bring dependable communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Must have current Lifeguard and CPR certifications.
• Ability to work with children.
• Prior leadership and teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of an accident or emergency
• Communicates the rules of the facility to patrons fairly and consistently
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Ensures that medical services are contacted by most appropriate means when necessary to respond to an emergency
• Advance through cross-training in multiple roles and substitutes when necessary
• Provide a Golden Experience to our students, families, and team members

  Role: Lifeguard / Swim Instructor

  Summary:

  Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of Goldfish Swim School - Summerlin by preventing and responding to emergencies.

  Job Qualifications and Skills:
