Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• One (1) year experience as a lifeguard.
• Must possess lifeguard and CPO certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers and ensure safety in the pool area.
• Assist in training and orienting new lifeguards.
• Coordinate lifeguard schedules for coverage.

Skills

Excellent swimmer

Knowledge of first aid

Ability to work under limited supervision

Ability to work with both children and adults

Knowledge of general safety rules

Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent

One (1) year experience as a lifeguard

Tools

Lifeguard Certification

CPO Certification
