Job summary

Metro Lagoons is seeking a Lifeguard Supervisor to help manage the lagoon bathing area, lead the lifeguard team, and perform hands-on safety duties outdoors. The role focuses on guest safety, supervising staff, and participating in training and audits alongside the Water Safety team.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, at least two years of lifeguard and supervisory experience, and ARC Lifeguard Certification (training provided). Flexible availability across shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Minimum two years supervisory experience.
• Minimum two years lifeguard experience required.
• Must pass Swim Test and hold American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification (training provided).
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to operate water attractions and ensure guest safety.
• Respond to emergencies and provide First Aid as needed.
• Perform opening/closing duties and pre‑operation checks.
• Maintain area cleanliness and enforce safety guidelines.
• Prepare reports, checklists, and manage daily scheduling.
• Coach staff, provide feedback, and manage budget hours.
