Position: Lifeguard Supervisor

Under general supervision, the Lifeguard Supervisor oversees seasonal lifeguard and front desk staff and performs lifeguard and front desk duties. Responsibilities include:

1. Training and supervision of staff
2. Enforcing safety rules and regulations
3. Managing seasonal staffing needs: recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing in-service training
4. Performing related tasks, including cleaning and janitorial maintenance of the pool and surrounding facility

This position reports directly to the Program Coordinator and Aquatics Director.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Starting pay is $18.00/hr
• Reliable transportation required
• Flexible shifts including weekends, mornings, and afternoons
• Prompt response to work-related communication
• Ability to react quickly to emergencies and follow instructions
• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical requirements
