Job summary

The Bridgewater Club in Carmel, Indiana, is seeking responsible and energetic lifeguards to ensure member and guest safety around swimming pools. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool and pool area to ensure guest safety.
• Respond and care for emergencies at Bridgewater Club.
• Complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Secure all facilities upon closing and during periods with no lifeguard supervision.
• Administer age-appropriate discipline as needed with good judgement and respect of patrons.
• Ensure all equipment malfunctions are reported in a timely manner.
• Respond to questions and needs of guests and management.
• Remain calm, personable, and professional while multitasking.
• Work effectively within a group setting to ensure safety of patrons.
• Stay current with and effectively enact facility policies and procedures.
• Attend all trainings, including in-service trainings and organizational meetings.
• Maintain all safety training certifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

About The Bridgewater Club

Bridgewater Club is a private club with a fun work environment.

Position Overview

We are looking to hire a responsible and energetic person to ensure the safety of members and guests in and around the swimming pools. The lifeguard will enforce safety rules with the members and guests and warn them about unsafe situations. Additional duties include supervising the swimming pool areas, locker rooms, and restrooms. To succeed, you must create a safe and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement in accordance with Bridgewater Club policies and procedures.
