Job summary

A leading entertainment company is seeking a lifeguard to support excellent customer service and ensure guest safety at the pool area. The ideal candidate will have a Lifeguard Certificate, be at least 16 years old, and possess strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Flexibility to work various shifts is essential. The role includes maintaining a safe, clean environment, interacting positively with guests, and responding effectively to emergencies. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Responsibilities
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, anddemonstratessuperior customer servicein accordance withdepartment and company standards and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliancewith all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Keeps work area clean and free of safety hazards,debrisand litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Attends toguests in pool area, cabanas,daybedsand lounge chairs, ensuring memorable visit for the guests.
  • Maintains open lines of communication with management and security to ensure service standards and safety standards are kept up at all times.
  • Responds to all situations safely and promptly.
  • Maintains cleanliness on the pool deck area by removing ofany cups,trashand towels regularly.
  • Ensuresall guest area is stocked with towels and supplies.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Previousexperience as a lifeguard is preferred
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints, with particular attention to detail.
  • Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills and good public relations skills with a good personality, enjoying opportunities to work with andassistpeople.
  • Physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, management,vendorsand employees while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to withstand extreme sun & heat, cold, and inclement weather forlong periodsof time throughout the day.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documentsin English, such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
