Job summary

UW Health’s Aquatic Center in Madison, WI is seeking a Lifeguard for part-time day/evening shifts with a 4pm-9pm window and weekend rotation. The role is based at Science Drive Medical Center, 621 Science Dr., Madison.

You will supervise pool deck operations, balance chemicals, assist with appointment management, and track attendance in a state-of-the-art facility. Preferred candidates hold a High School diploma, lifeguard experience, and current Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid

Qualifications

• Must have current Red Cross Lifeguard TrainingCertification
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification required
• First Aid Certification required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool deck operations including appointments, classes, and programs.
• Ensure chemicals in the pool are balanced.
• Assist pool therapists with appointment management.
• Track class attendance and pool usage.
• Work in a state-of-the-art facility.

This is a part-time, day/evening shift position. Flexible schedule between the hours of 4pm-9pm, and a weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department. You will work at the Science Drive Medical Center at 621 Science Dr., Madison, WI.
