About Us: The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department manages and maintains more than 225 parks, playgrounds, and open spaces in San Francisco.
Role description: Under general direction, protects the health, safety and welfare of patrons at a municipally operated swimming pool facility. Responsibilities include maintaining discipline in and around the swimming pool; conducting rescue operations; cleaning and disinfecting the pool, decks, showers, locker rooms and aquatic equipment; and performing related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two hundred hours of experience as a paid or volunteer lifeguard.
