Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis is seeking a Lifeguard to supervise pool areas and ensure safe, positive experiences for participants of all ages. You will respond to emergencies, perform CPR and First Aid according to YMCA/Red Cross guidelines, and maintain vigilance around the water.

Requirements include being at least 16 years old and holding a current Lifeguard certificate with First Aid/CPR Healthcare Provider credentials.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must pass basic lifeguard skills test, including swimming 500 yards.
• Must possess and maintain current Lifeguard certificates (YMCA/ARC/Ellis) including First Aid and CPR Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe environment for all participants in and around the pool, including responding to emergencies and administering CPR and First Aid per certs.
