Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to supervise swimmers, enforce rules, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment. You’ll be poolside each shift, ready to respond to emergencies and provide care until EMS arrives.

The ideal candidate has a safety-first mindset, strong communication, and availability for evenings and weekends. Certification is required if not already held, with experience preferred at aquatic facilities or camps.

Qualifications

• Must have a safety-first mindset and be able to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
• Strong communication skills with team members and families.
• Required Lifeguard certification if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of all patrons and respond to emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and first aid until EMS arrives.
• Communicate facility rules to members and guests, with a welcoming attitude.
• Inform management of incidents promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility during every shift.
• Help drive our mission and ensure a Golden Experience for all.
