Job summary

Goldfish Swim School is seeking a vigilant Lifeguard to monitor swimmers, enforce rules, and maintain a safe environment. You will be poolside every shift, leading by example and ensuring families feel confident in the water.

Ideal candidates have a safety-first approach, reliable attendance, and solid communication with both staff and guests. Evening and weekend availability is required; Lifeguard certification is anticipated if not already held.

Qualifications

• Safety-first mindset and the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to show up fully focused every shift.
• Strong communication skills with both team members and families.
• Required to obtain Lifeguard certification if not certified already.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant, focused surveillance of all patrons in the facility and respond immediately to emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and first aid until EMS arrives and ensure EMS is contacted appropriately.
• Communicate facility rules to members and guests in a welcoming manner.
• Inform management of incidents accurately and promptly.
