Job summary

The Romulus Athletic Center, part of The Sports Facilities Companies, is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure guest safety in and around the pool area in Romulus, MI. This part-time, non-exempt position reports to the Operations Director and is ideal for individuals committed to service and safety.

Responsibilities include enforcing pool rules, supervising swimmers, responding to emergencies, and delivering friendly guest service. Required certifications and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current ARC Deep Water Lifeguard training and First Aid/CPR/AED or able to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Enforcing all pool rules.
• Providing patron surveillance while swimming.
• Handling injuries, accidents, and emergencies as they arise.
• Greet guests and provide information and way finding as needed.
• Provide courteous and friendly guest service.
• Operate ticket sales booth and handle cash.
