Job summary

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent.
• Current American Red Cross CPR certification or equivalent.
• Sufficient fluency in English for water safety/lifesaving purposes.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work without constant supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe pool activity to ensure safety and enforce pool rules.
• Perform lifeguard duties and respond to emergencies per Red Cross standards.
• Identify and report potential hazards; keep pool area safe and clean.
• Monitor and record chemical levels hourly; communicate readings to supervisor.
• Maintain daily logs and assist with pool-related maintenance as needed.
