Job summary

Forest Home is hiring lifeguards to guard guests at pools and lake facilities, maintain safety and cleanliness, and provide Christ-centered customer service. Shifts are available year-round; starting pay is $14 per hour with CPR/First Aid training provided.

Qualifications include American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard, and AED certifications, or willingness to obtain them; must be at least 16 years old and pursuing a diploma. Prior lifeguard experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard, and AED certifications, or willingness to become certified.
• Working towards a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior lifeguard experience.
• Preferred experience in guest interaction with people of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform lifeguard duties in lakes and pools as assigned.
• Obtain and maintain Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR and AED certifications.
• Maintain fitness per American Red Cross standards.
• Support and uphold Recreation safety plans and procedures.
• Ensure equipment is inspected and maintained.
• Provide excellent, Christ-like service to guests and fellow staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
