Ensure the safety of all members using the Meadowmont Wellness Center aquatics facility. Maintain equipment and cleanliness of the facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Answer questions and respond to requests from members regarding aquatics facility and services.
2. Maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pool by completing tasks such as vacuuming the pool bottom, cleaning gutters, eliminating puddles on the pool deck, and picking up trash. Ensure the pool and whirlpool are maintained at proper temperatures and chemical levels.
3. Monitor all users of the pool to ensure safety and prevent drowning. Administer first aid, perform water rescues, and administer CPR as necessary. Enforce all pool rules, health regulations, and center policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: None required.
• Certifications: CPR certification and American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.
• Experience: Prefer prior experience working with individuals with special needs such as arthritis, heart disease, or physical injuries.
