Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Answer questions and respond to requests from members regarding aquatics facility and services.
2. Maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pool by completing tasks such as vacuuming the pool bottom, cleaning gutters, eliminating puddles on the pool deck, and picking up trash. Ensure the pool and whirlpool are maintained at proper temperatures and chemical levels.
3. Monitor all pool users to ensure safety and prevent drowning. Administer first aid, perform water rescues, and CPR when necessary. Enforce all pool rules, health regulations, and center policies.

Education Requirements: None required.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: CPR certification, American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification.

Professional Experience Requirements: Prefer prior experience working with consumers with special needs such as arthritis, heart disease, and physical injuries or handicaps.
