Job summary

Platte Canyon School District is seeking a part-time lifeguard for Marge Hudak Pool in Bailey, CO. The position offers flexible hours, including weekends, with pay starting at $17 per hour and increases based on experience. You must be 16 years or older and hold a lifeguard certification with CPR/First Aid.

WSI is not required but would be highly valued. Responsibilities include monitoring swimmers, enforcing rules, maintaining pool conditions, assisting with events and cashiering, and

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all swimmers in the water and on the deck, providing necessary assistance.
• Consistently enforce rules and regulations.
• Monitor and record pool conditions and assist with general maintenance.
• Assist with cashiering and special events when necessary.
• Participate in opening and closing duties; perform light cleaning to ready the facility for the next day.
• Other duties as assigned.

WSI (Water Safety Instructor) not requiredbut will become necessary in the near future. To have WSI would be looked highly upon.

Responsibilities:
•Ensure the safety of all swimmers in the water and on the deck, providing necessary assistance

•Consistently enforce rules and regulations

•Monitor and record pool conditions and assist with general maintenance

•Assist with cashiering and special events when necessary

• Must participate in opening and closing duties, light cleaning- preparing the facility to be ready to be opened the following business day
• Other duties as assigned
