Job summary

The West Suburban YMCA in Newton, MA is hiring Lifeguards to supervise pool activities and maintain safety in the facility. We offer flexible shifts from mornings to evenings, with a minimum of 10 hours and up to 28 hours per week, starting at $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross Lifeguard or equivalent.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active surveillance of the pool area and respond to emergencies.
• Follow YMCA policies; complete incident and accident reports as required.
• Keep a professional demeanor and maintain a safe pool environment.
