Job summary

Qualifications

• Must pass American Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard Swim Test.
• Certifications: Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid are required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Rescuing bathers in distress and administering first aid as needed.
• Enforcing swimming area rules and safety regulations.
• Resolving complaints and maintaining good public relations with patrons.
• Maintaining order and discipline in the assigned area.
• Keeping the area clean and presentable when lifeguard duties permit.
