Lifeguard - Frank J. Thornton YMCA Aquatic Center

Position Overview

The Frank J. Thornton YMCA Aquatic Center is seeking enthusiastic community members for part-time lifeguard positions to help ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. Certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards are encouraged to apply; certification can be provided if qualified.

Compensation

Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $14.00/hr. Actual pay will depend on skills and experience. Discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of members and program participants.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid, and American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
• Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required.
• Interested candidates who meet basic swim requirements but lack certification will be trained by the YMCA.
