Lifeguard - Frank J. Thornton YMCA Aquatic Center (Opening Shift)

Position Details

This is a part-time position starting at $14.00 per hour, primarily for the opening shift. The YMCA is seeking enthusiastic community members to ensure the safety of patrons at our pool. Certified lifeguards or swimmers interested in becoming lifeguards (certification provided if qualified) are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of members and program participants in the pool area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Current CPR, AED, First Aid, and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification.
• Oxygen Administration (O2) certification is preferred but not required.
• Interest in becoming certified lifeguard if not already certified; training provided by YMCA.
