Job summary

There is potential to grow into swim instruction for Learn to Swim, with on-site Ellis & Associates certification and instructor prerequisites. Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays up to 20 hours per week; daytime availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ellis & Associates Lifeguard certification required and provided on-site.
• Prerequisites: 200-yard swim, retrieve a 10 lb. brick, tread water 2 minutes.
• Swim Instructor certification required for teaching roles on-site.

Responsibilities

• Patrol pool area and monitor swimmer safety.
• Provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
• Deliver friendly customer service to patrons.
• Assist with Learn to Swim program as needed.
