Job summary

Waterworks Aquatics in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Lifeguard/Deck Guard to help keep our swimmers safe. You don’t need competitive swimming experience; alertness and following safety procedures are key.

You will monitor the pool deck, respond to distress, provide basic first aid, and follow our Emergency Action Plan. Flexible hours and paid training support your school or schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Must be able to swim, tread water, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED, Lifeguard, and Bloodborne Pathogens or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor assigned swimming areas to ensure guest and student safety.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to swimmers in distress or emergency situations.
• Provide basic first aid and assist with incident response per company protocols.
• Follow and execute Waterworks Aquatics’ Emergency Action Plan.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the pool deck.
• Maintain pool deck cleanliness and safety, including light maintenance work and periodic restroom checks.
• Communicate guest or facility concerns to management using proper channels.
