Gold’s Aquatics Camas is seeking a dependable lifeguard to join our aquatics team in Camas, WA. This part-time role focuses on vigilant supervision, safety, and a positive experience for members and families.

Hourly pay ranges from $17.13 to $22.00, with shifts mainly weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends. Applicants must hold a current lifeguard certification (CPR/AED and First Aid preferred).

Employment Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.13 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Shifts are primarily weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends.

Gold’s Aquatics Camas is looking for dependable, attentive Lifeguards to join our aquatics team. Our lifeguards play an important role in keeping our pools safe and making sure members and families have a positive experience while using our facility.

Applicants must have a current lifeguard certification to apply.

What you’ll do:

• Actively supervise swimmers and maintain constant awareness of the pool and surrounding areas
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergencies
• Enforce pool rules and safety policies consistently
• Help create a safe and welcoming environment for members and families
• Perform regular safety checks of the pool area
• Keep the pool deck and surrounding areas clean and organized
• Communicate professionally with members, parents, swimmers, and coworkers
• Work closely with swim instructors and other aquatics staff
• Participate in required staff trainings and maintain required certifications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a current lifeguard certification
• Is dependable and arrives ready to work
• Takes safety and active supervision seriously
• Is attentive and able to stay focused throughout their shift
• Communicates well with both children and adults
• Is comfortable enforcing rules when necessary
• Works well as part of a team
• Can work afternoon/evening and/or weekend shifts

Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required.
