Job Description

*CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Must have a valid Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate prior to being offered the position.*

At FOSS, safety is our top priority! As a FOSS Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of students by monitoring our indoor pool deck. This role involves collaborating with Swim Teachers, engaging with students and their families, and maintaining a safe environment. Bring your positive energy, attention to detail, and safety-first mindset to create a memorable and secure experience.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to combine your passion for swimming with professional growth in water safety and pool maintenance, supported by our dedicated mentors.

Shift Requirements

• Sunday Morning (approximately 8am - 1pm)
• Monday Evening (approximately 3:30pm - 8:30pm)
• Friday Evening (approximately 3:30pm - 8:30pm)

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor swimmers during designated hours
• Maintain pool area safety and cleanliness
• Respond promptly to emergencies, administer first aid, and report incidents
• Enforce safety measures
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with team members
