Job Details

• Training Rate: $13.85
• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain constant vigilance and supervision of Guests in the Hurricane Harbor Waterpark.
• Recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies by utilizing skills taught by Ellis & Associates ILTP.
• Maintain a Test-Ready skill level at all times after certification.
• Assist in other areas of the Aquatics Department.
• Must attend 4 hours of In-Service training each month.
• Enforce all Six Flags Policies and communicate safety policies to Guests.
• Maintain a regular, prompt attendance, and a clean work environment.
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
• Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum Age: 15 (must be at least 16 to obtain a Special Facilities License)
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to pass all lifeguard training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Professional, self-motivated, with a positive attitude
• Strong teamwork skills
