Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain constant vigilance and supervision of Guests in the Hurricane Harbor Waterpark.
• Recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies using skills taught by Ellis & Associates ILTP.
• Maintain a "Test-Ready" skill level after certification.
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Ellis & Associates ILTP program.
• Assist in other areas of the Aquatics Department.
• Attend 4 hours of In-Service training each month.
• Enforce all Six Flags policies and communicate safety policies to Guests.
• Maintain punctuality and a clean work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 15 years old; must be at least 16 to obtain the Special Facilities License.
• Effective communication skills.
• Successful completion of lifeguard training and licensing through Jeff Ellis & Associates, including practical and written tests.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies.
• Ability to exit a pool or attraction without ladders, steps, or a zero-depth exit.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Professional attitude, self-motivation, multitasking ability, and enthusiasm.
• Strong teamwork skills.
