$14.00/hr - $14.00/hr

BASIC FUNCTION: The Lifeguard is responsible for the safety and wellbeing of our guests. Must ensure that all rules and regulations are being adhered to at the pool while ensuring that our guests are abiding by them. Must be an excellent swimmer.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

• CPR/AED Certified
• Ability to think clearly in an active work environment
• Ability to enforce safety standards
• Ability to uphold hotel policies regarding food and drink in the pool area
• Must stay focused on all guests at all times
• Must socialize with the guests

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing, walking, bending over, crawling, reaching, crouching, kneeling, balancing, pushing/pulling, lifting/carrying (10lbs or less, 11-25lbs, 26-50lbs)
• Manual dexterity, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, eye/hand coordination, near and far vision, color recognition, hearing

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

• Working outside, working alone, working closely with others, working above ground, working with chemicals/detergents, walking on uneven surfaces, working around machinery or motorized equipment
